Welcome to General Practice

A session for GP trainees and newly qualified GPs to help you understand the exciting opportunities available to you on your journey from certificate of completion of training to your first revalidation. The session will be jointly run by the General Medical Council (GMC), NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSEI), Health Education England and the Royal College of GPs, and during this you will also hear from First Five GPs who have participated in the schemes on the agenda, including the general practice fellowship.

An overview of the differing support initiatives which could be available to you as a mid-career GP, helping to enhance your career in a way that suits you. This may be participating in funded mentorship training or hearing more about how we are supporting flexible working.
